The 106th Anniversary Commemoration of the May 4th Movement and the May 4th Commendation Conference

On May 23rd, Hudong-Zhonghua held a commemoration meeting for the 106th anniversary of the May 4th Movement and a May 4th Commendation conference. Chen Jianliang, the Party Secretary and Chairman of Hudong-Zhonghua, Hu Jingdong, the Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Qin Rong, the Deputy Party Secretary and Chairperson of the Trade Union, and other leaders attended the meeting. More than 340 people, including the heads of Party, mass organizations and personnel, the heads of various grassroots Party and Youth League organizations, representatives of League members and outstanding young people, participated in the conference. At this conference, the Youth League Branch of the Valve Company was awarded the title of "Hudong-China Red Flag Branch" for the 2024-2025 period, and Jiang Mengdi was honored with the title of "Outstanding Communist Youth League Cadre of Hudong-China" for the 2024-2025 period.

Chen Jianliang fully affirmed the contributions made by the various levels of the Communist Youth League organizations and the young members of Hudong-Zhonghua over the past year. He congratulated the advanced collectives and individuals who were commended. In light of the company's overall relocation and the current production and operation situation, he put forward three requirements to the company's young people:

First, remain true to our original aspiration and be a steadfast practitioner with firm beliefs. Carry forward the spirit of "patriotism, progress, democracy and science" of the May 4th Movement, continuously enhance ideological and political theoretical literacy, take the original aspiration as the source, nourish the loyal soul, unswervingly follow the Party, be loyal to the country, and be a new-era shipbuilder with lofty aspirations.

Second, stand at the forefront and be a pioneer in innovation and exploration. Seize the once-in-a-lifetime development opportunities of the company, forge ahead with determination, devote oneself to research, continuously enhance professional qualities, uphold a spirit of dedication, delve deeply into the professional field, continuously improve efficiency and benefits, create value through hard work, and lead the development of the industry.

Third, keep working diligently and be a model of hard work and perseverance. In the face of fierce market competition, we should rise to the challenge, take the initiative to act, carry forward the team spirit, not be afraid of hardship, temper an iron will through trials and tribulations, and achieve growth through overcoming difficulties, so as to reserve high-quality talents for the high-quality development of the company.
