On the morning of July 4th, two 174000 cubic meter LNG transport ships (H1884A, H1801A) started construction at the company's western factory on Changxing Island. This is the 11th and 12th ship that the company has started construction on this year, and the company's LNG production capacity doubling strategy is steadily advancing. Zhang Xiufeng, Assistant General Manager of the company, Huang Huabing, Deputy Chief Constructor of LNG, and other leaders attended the groundbreaking event.

The two ships under construction this time are both the fifth generation "Changheng series" LNG ships independently developed and designed by the company, with a total length of 299 meters, a width of 46.4 meters, and a depth of 26.25 meters. Equipped with multiple low-carbon and energy-saving technologies, compared with the previous generation of LNG ships, it has the characteristics of low comprehensive energy consumption, good low-temperature performance, strong cargo capacity, and skillful operation and maintenance. The daily carbon emissions during navigation can be reduced by more than 10 tons, and it can reach 120 LNG shore stations on all continents around the world, with excellent global navigation.

At present, the company holds more than 30 fifth generation LNG ships, and each LNG ship project team is empowered by technology, striving hard, continuously promoting lean management, achieving continuous operation, maintaining rhythmic production, forming batch construction, and continuously consolidating the company's position as the "chain leader" of the LNG industry chain.
