Recently, the 13000TEU dual fuel container ship "Dafei Beilen" built by Hudong Zhonghua Construction under China Shipbuilding Group was named and delivered. The company achieved a cumulative delivery of 12 ships in the first half of the year, completing 60% of its annual plan.
Since the beginning of this year, the production and operation of Hudong Zhonghua have been advancing simultaneously, delivering the best results for the first half of 2024 and laying a solid foundation for achieving the annual production and operation targets.
Management
#Successfully signed orders for 18 of the world's largest 271000 cubic meter ultra large LNG transport ships;
#Sign contracts for the construction of four 14000 TEU methanol fuel reserved large container ships, enriching the "green family tree" of large container ships;
#On June 14th, exceeded the annual business undertaking task ahead of schedule.
Production
#Breaking the global record for the fastest "2-in-1" trial voyage of a large LNG carrier in 4.5 days;
#Achieve a new domestic record of delivering two large LNG transport ships in a single month.
The "Dafei Beilen" container ship is flexible, technologically advanced, energy-saving and environmentally friendly, and is a new generation of green, efficient and energy-saving container ships.
#Adopting LNG dual fuel power system, equipped with China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation's independent brand CMD-WinGD9X9DF-2.0 main engine, and equipped with a new generation intelligent control exhaust gas recirculation (ICER) system, it can reduce methane escape by 50% in gas mode and greenhouse gas emissions by more than 28%.
#Installing air flow guides can save 2% to 4% fuel consumption in actual operation; Installing energy-saving guide devices at the stern can improve the efficiency of propeller propulsion, reduce energy consumption by about 1.5%, and significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
During the construction of the vessel, the project team deeply summarized the experience of building a series of ships, promoted efficiency improvement through lean management, and continuously broke the record for the shortest critical cycle of 13000 TEU series container ship construction.
