On April 6th, Wang Guoqiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group, Director, and General Manager of China Shipbuilding Corporation Limited, conducted a research visit to Hudong Zhonghua, a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Corporation, to gain a deep understanding of the company's operational status and give instructions on the future development direction of Hudong Zhonghua.   Chen Jianliang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Hudong Zhonghua, accompanied by Weng Hongbing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager. During the research period, Wang Guoqiang went to guide the work of Hudong Valve, a subsidiary of Hudong Zhonghua, and was warmly received by members of the company's leadership team.

Wang Guoqiang listened to the work reports of Chen Jianliang and Weng Hongbing on recent production and operation, safety production, technological innovation, new factory construction, and overall relocation. He conducted on-site research on areas such as docks, ship joint workshops, low-temperature laboratories, Hudong valves, and employee dormitories. At the ship joint workshop, Wang Guoqiang inquired in detail about the production and operation situation, fully affirmed the development achievements of Hudong Zhonghua in recent years, and emphasized that safety production has always been the lifeline of enterprise development, and must be constantly grasped and the safety bottom line must be firmly maintained.

At Hudong Valve, Wang Guoqiang conducted on-site research on areas such as intelligent processing workshops, low-temperature engineering testing centers, and automated low-temperature assembly lines, and had in-depth exchanges with researchers to understand the company's progress in key technology research and development and innovation achievement transformation. He encouraged the company to continue increasing its investment in scientific research and innovation, overcome more technological challenges, enhance its core competitiveness, and better develop China's offshore LNG industry chain.

Wang Guoqiang has put forward clear requirements for the future development of China in eastern Shanghai. He pointed out that we must continue to strengthen technological innovation, increase investment in cutting-edge scientific research fields such as intelligent manufacturing and green and environmentally friendly ships, and master core technologies with independent intellectual property rights; Secondly, we must continuously improve lean management, enhance production efficiency and product quality, reduce costs, and improve quality and efficiency; We must attach great importance to the construction of talent teams, increase efforts in talent introduction and cultivation, and provide solid talent team support for the high-quality development of enterprises. We must actively expand external markets, strengthen cooperation with domestic and foreign customers, and consolidate and enhance China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation's leading position in the global shipbuilding market. We must strengthen the guidance of Party building, promote the deep integration of Party building work with production and operation, strengthen the construction of corporate culture, care for employees, and make the culture of China Shipbuilding deeply rooted in people's hearts.
