24000 TEU ultra large container ship (H1878A) docked
On February 8th, the company welcomed its first major production milestone in the Year of the Snake, with the 24000TEU ultra large container ship (H1878A) successfully docked at the No.1 dock in the western factory area. Cadres and employees worked hard to accelerate segmented manufacturing and improve overall efficiency, laying a solid foundation for the smooth docking of the ship.
Representatives from the ship owner's on-site supervision team and the American Bureau of Shipping's on-site team, as well as Liu Xuedong, Deputy General Manager of Changxing Shipbuilding, and other leaders and guests attended the docking activity.
The 24000TEU ultra large container ship is independently developed and designed by the company, with internationally leading performance indicators. It is equipped with a hybrid scrubber desulfurization device and adopts the latest green, environmentally friendly, efficient, energy-saving, safe and reliable design scheme from around the world. Its unique small ball nose bow, large diameter propeller and energy-saving duct devices fully reflect the ship's fast performance and low energy consumption. It is currently the largest container ship in the world in terms of container load capacity.
In response to the construction characteristics of this series of container ships, Manufacturing Department 2 continuously summarizes construction experience and improves production efficiency and product quality through new processes and methods. Firstly, a large amount of thick plate welding work for anti torsion boxes is completed in the splicing stage. Secondly, the use of angle submerged arc automatic welding machines is used to accelerate segmented forming. Thirdly, the long cycle segments are moved forward to promote the construction of pipes, electricity, pre outfitting, and structure in the same tire, shortening the manufacturing cycle.
Manufacturing Department 2 monitored the welding penetration depth of the ship and formed a "penetration detection table" to facilitate the confirmation of the deep welding position and groove form by construction personnel, simplify the ship owner's inspection and acceptance process, accelerate the inspection speed, and receive praise from the ship owner.
In response to the high number of cranes on this type of container ship, the loading department strictly implemented the line schedule plan according to the requirements of the project team. One month before the last batch of docking, the overall group tire position was planned. Combined with the on-site tire position production situation, the overall group reserve was continuously optimized. Through lean management, the characteristics and construction period of each group segment were carefully analyzed, and the overall group construction plan was formulated. During the process, the integration of shell, outfitting, and coating was met, ensuring that the overall group segment was the finished coating segment and achieving a good start to production for Snake Year Company.
