In June of this year, the "Youth Lecture Hall" series of online courses kicked off, with the Business English Writing course as the opening highlight, providing 100 hours of in-depth training for young employees to help them comprehensively improve their business English comprehensive abilities. To test learning outcomes, the Hudong Zhonghua Youth League Committee held a Business English Skills Competition in October, with more than 40 employees from 11 departments registering to participate. China Shipbuilding Group's foreign translation experts and English teachers from Donghua Education serve as judges to ensure the professionalism and fairness of the competition. The competition comprehensively assesses the language expression and work application skills of the contestants through showcasing their talents and comparing their listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities.

The competition design closely integrates the characteristics of shipbuilding companies, and comprehensively tests the English "listening, speaking, reading, and writing" abilities of the contestants through two parts: showcasing their talents and participating in martial arts competitions. In the style display segment, the contestants combined their work practice and shared their experiences from multiple dimensions such as learning skills, language expression, and work application, vividly interpreting the spirit of young employees standing on their posts and striving for excellence, winning high praise from the audience and judges on site. The competition was even more intense, with contestants completing business English listening challenges and practical work scenario writing, showcasing excellent English writing skills around themes such as company internationalization, international trade, and business strategy. The judges provide professional interpretations and valuable suggestions to help young people deepen their knowledge and improve their skills.
