On September 3rd, the Hamburg Maritime Exhibition (SMM), one of the most influential exhibitions in the world, opened. With the technological advantage of low-temperature liquid cargo storage and transportation, the company timely targeted the emerging market demand for transport ships under the international trend of carbon neutrality, and launched four green low-carbon liquefied gas transport ship types, which have been recognized by the four major international authoritative classification societies, marking the company's accelerated progress towards becoming a global leader in low-temperature liquid cargo transport ship types. The company's chief engineer Song Wei and senior leaders from the headquarters of the four major international classification societies attended the certification ceremony.

88000 cubic meters of liquid ammonia transport ship

At this maritime professional exhibition, the company launched an 88000 cubic meter liquid ammonia transport ship, providing flexible and efficient innovative solutions for the emerging global demand for zero carbon energy transportation. This type of ship is the largest liquid ammonia transport vessel capable of passing through the Panama Canal, with a total length of 230 meters, a width of 32.25 meters, and a depth of 24 meters. It adopts the company's independently developed A-type liquid cargo containment system scheme, with a designed speed of 16.5 knots. The power system uses a dual fuel low-speed engine with conventional fuel generators, meeting the IMO TIER III emission requirements. Specially designed for ammonia fuel leakage detection, transportation pipelines and supply systems, and water spray absorption systems, it can achieve the collection function of escaping ammonia even in the event of a power outage on the entire ship, effectively avoiding the risk of toxic ammonia injury to crew members during operation. The ship has completed the A-type liquid tank layout design, system principles and insulation layout, as well as a series of detailed design submissions and analyses such as structural strength, oscillation, temperature field and evaporation rate calculations. It has obtained GDA (General Design Approval) certificates from ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) and CCS (China Classification Society), as well as GASA (Loading Access) certificates from DNV (Det Norske Veritas) and LR (British Register of Shipping), indicating that the ship has met the engineering conditions.



40000 cubic meter liquefied carbon dioxide transport ship

The company has independently developed a 40000 cubic meter liquefied carbon dioxide transport ship with a total length of 211.0 meters, a width of 33.0 meters, a designed draft of 12.9 meters, and a designed speed of 14.0 knots. The liquid cargo system adopts an innovative low-pressure solution, which is compatible with transporting liquefied petroleum gas. For carbon dioxide evaporation gas, the ship design provides two cabin pressure control schemes: carbon dioxide re liquefaction and liquid cargo tank pressure storage. This ship type has been recognized by ABS, LR, DNV, and CCS principles.


150000 cubic meter ultra large ethane transport ship

The 150000 cubic meter ultra large ethane transport ship has a total length of 272.6 meters, a width of 42 meters, a design draft of 12.1 meters, a design speed of 16.5 knots, and an innovative three cargo hold design. It has the characteristics of light structural weight, strong cargo capacity, and excellent comprehensive performance. This ship type has been recognized by ABS, LR, DNV, and CCS principles.


20000 cubic meter LNG refueling transport ship

On the basis of the world's first 14000 cubic meter LNG refueling transport ship delivered in July this year, the company launched a 20000 cubic meter LNG refueling transport ship that is in high demand in the market at this exhibition through ship type iteration and upgrading. The total length is 145 meters, the width is 24.5 meters, the designed draft is 6.6 meters, and the designed speed is 12 knots. It adopts the company's proprietary B-type LNG containment system, which has been recognized by ABS, LR, DNV, and CCS principles.
