On May 31st, the No. 2 shipyard in Changxing Shipyard of the company was bustling with activity. Under the traction of tugboats, two 174000 cubic meter LNG ships slowly sailed out of the dock, while the other two large LNG ships completed the floating and shifting operations. This is the second time since March 24th that the company has presented a magnificent scene of four ships being built together, two ships leaving the dock, and two ships floating. The dock period has been shortened by nearly 20% year-on-year, reaching the world's advanced level. This marks a new stage of batch, normalization, standardization, and rhythm in the construction mode of four parallel and semi series ships in the company's large LNG dock, and the strategy of doubling LNG ship production capacity is moving towards a new level of comprehensive acceleration.

In order to further improve the construction efficiency of large LNG ships and shorten the dock cycle, the company included the new model of parallel and semi series construction of four ships in the annual special project for technological innovation at the beginning of this year, and carried out key planning and deployment.

During the implementation process, the company relies on a series of measures such as technological innovation, intelligent manufacturing support, digital process optimization, and rapid dock loading to continuously strengthen production organization, node assessment, and process control. The LNG ship project team is tightly intertwined, with a spirit of innovation and breakthrough, constantly promoting refined project management, coordinating and planning dock resources, balancing the volume of each ship, identifying construction risks and difficulties, preparing production plans for each ship, and implementing "fine" management and production, achieving twice the result with half the effort.

Under the condition of full load construction, after 68 days of hard work by the project team day and night, the dock period was shortened by 20%, achieving the historical best set goals of overall ship integrity and half ship structure. The project team worked closely together and worked together to further improve the overall hull coating of the shipyard. Prior to the lifting of the main assembly, two whole ships had already started cabin polishing operations. Before leaving the dock, insulation installation began on the superstructure. The installation of the windows from deck B to the driver's cab was basically completed. The cable laying on the ship reached more than 55%, and the pipeline installation density on the ship reached more than 20 routes; The 4 cargo holds of 2 and a half ships have been delivered for enclosure system construction before buoyancy, and the overall integrity has been significantly improved. The construction team has worked hard and accumulated experience and confidence in continuously consolidating and optimizing the batch, normalization, standardization, and rhythm of parallel semi series construction in large LNG docks.

The two ships to be docked this time are both the fifth generation "Changheng series" LNG ships independently developed and designed by the company, with a total length of 299 meters, a width of 46.4 meters, and a depth of 26.25 meters. Equipped with multiple low-carbon and energy-saving technologies, compared with the previous generation of LNG ships, it has the characteristics of low comprehensive energy consumption, good low-temperature performance, strong cargo carrying capacity, and skillful operation and maintenance. The daily carbon emissions can be reduced by more than 10 tons, and it can reach 120 LNG shore stations on all continents around the world, with excellent global navigability.

As the company's LNG ship capacity doubling strategy gradually enters a favorable stage, the advantage of large-scale construction of LNG ships will be further highlighted, and the company's competitiveness in the global large-scale LNG ship construction field will also become stronger.
