On May 30th, the 174000 cubic meter large liquefied natural gas (LNG) transport ship "Huashan", independently developed, designed and built by the company, was named and delivered 7 months ahead of the contract period. This is the second large LNG ship to be delivered within half a month, following the "Green Energy Ying" on May 15th, setting a new record in the company's history of delivering two large LNG ships in a single month. The company's LNG production capacity doubling strategy has achieved new achievements.

"Huashan" is the second ship built by the company for the second phase of China COSCO Shipping and PetroChina State LNG Transportation Project. It is also the fifth large LNG ship completed and delivered after the first phase of the project, "Shaolin", "Wudang" and "Kunlun", and the second phase of the project, "Emei". It demonstrates the joint efforts of China Shipbuilding Group, China COSCO Shipping Group, and PetroChina Group, as three central enterprises, to implement the national energy development strategy and the responsibility and mission of "national gas transportation, national shipbuilding" policy.
"Huashan" is a mainstream large-scale LNG transport ship in the world today, independently developed and designed by the company, with full intellectual property rights. The ship has a total length of 295 meters, a molded width of 45 meters, a molded depth of 26.25 meters, a speed of 19.5 knots, and is classified by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and China Classification Society (CCS). This type of ship adopts the latest generation of dual fuel low-speed propulsion power system in the world, equipped with advanced environmental protection devices, with a daily fuel consumption of less than 100 tons. Its emissions can meet the strictest standards of the International Maritime Organization in gas or fuel mode, and it has many characteristics such as low evaporation rate, low energy consumption, high environmental friendliness, strong universality, and excellent economy. Especially, its ship shore compatibility is good, the route adaptability is flexible, and it can reliably berth at the vast majority of land shore stations around the world. It also has the function of ship to ship maritime transfer and transportation, which has been praised by ship owners and popular in the market.
During the construction process of the "Huashan" ship, the company focused on key aspects such as efficient dock loading, rapid dock debugging, and simplified trial navigation processes with the highest standards and strictest requirements. The company strictly implemented the LNG ship construction strategy of "lean production to improve efficiency, optimized management to strengthen quality", fully promoted digital construction, promoted the application of new processes and construction methods, and continuously climbed new peaks, continuously improving efficiency and quality. Breaking the global record for the fastest 4.5 day test of power and gas integration, the fuel consumption during the test decreased from over 380 tons on the first ship to over 180 tons, and high-quality delivery was made 7 months ahead of schedule.
Under the guidance of the strategy of doubling LNG production capacity, the company fully leverages the new advantages of intelligent manufacturing, explores and releases new quality productivity, and continuously solidifies and strengthens the supporting strength of LNG production capacity. At present, the monthly production of insulation boxes has reached a record high of over 36000 units, and the manufacturing of pump towers has increased from an average of 3 units per month to an average of 5 units per month, reaching a historical best level. The monthly production of ultra-low temperature valve production lines has increased by 200% year-on-year, while the monthly production of high-performance valve production lines has increased by 250% year-on-year. Various types of Yinwa prefabricated parts have increased by over 55% year-on-year, laying a solid foundation for achieving the new goal of completing and delivering 8 LNG ships in China throughout the year.
