On December 6, Shanghai Hudong Shipbuilding Valve Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu New Era Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement during the 2023 China International Maritime Exhibition. The main products under construction include: 50,000-ton chemical/oil tankers, 111,000-ton dual-fuel oil tankers, 158,000-ton oil tankers, 208,000-ton dual-fuel bulk carriers, 7,000TEU container ships, 13,000TEU container ships, 320,000-ton VLCCs, etc. Currently, there are 98 orders on hand. It ranks among the top ten global shipyards with orders in hand, of which dual-fuel powered ships account for 50%.
