China Shipbuilding Group Shanghai Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary Shanghai Hudong Shipbuilding Valve Co., Ltd. participated in the exhibition. Hudong Valve is the first to participate in an exhibition that represents the highest level of the liquefied gas industry. It comprehensively showcases the latest generation of independently developed marine ultra-low temperature valve products, including ultra-low temperature globe valves, ultra-low temperature ball valves, ultra-low temperature butterfly valves, ultra-low temperature safety valves, and other series of products, attracting industry professionals from around the world to visit, exchange and explore cooperation opportunities.

LNG transport ships are recognized as one of the most difficult to build ship types in the world, and are referred to as the "jewel in the crown" of the world shipbuilding industry. As the first shipping company in China to have the ability to independently design and build large LNG transport ships with actual ship delivery performance, Hudong Zhonghua is also the only shipping company in the world that can simultaneously build two types of LNG ships, NO96 and MARK III. It has delivered more than 40 LNG transport ships (equipment) of various types. At present, there are nearly 50 orders for handheld LNG ships, and the production task has been scheduled until 2028. At this year's Gastech 2023 conference, Shanghai East China developed a design plan for a 271000 cubic meter ultra large liquefied natural gas (LNG) transport ship, which has also received a Principal Acceptance (AIP) certificate from the four major international classification societies. This is the largest LNG transport ship developed and designed globally to date.

Ultra low temperature valves are the core supporting equipment of LNG transport ships. In recent years, under the correct leadership of Hudong Zhonghua, Hudong Valve has made every effort to promote the full series of domestic research and production of ultra-low temperature valve products.
