The ship is independently designed by the company and has completely independent intellectual property rights. It has entered DNV classification society. The total length of the ship is 399.99 meters, more than 60 meters longer than the world's largest aircraft carrier; The type width is 61.5m, and the deck area is equivalent to nearly 4 standard football fields; With a depth of 33.2 meters, the maximum number of stacking layers can reach 25, which is equivalent to the height of 22 floors. It can carry more than 240000 tons of cargo, and can load a record 24116 standard containers at a time. It is the largest container ship in the world at present, and is a veritable "Big Mac" and "king of cargo".

The ship is equipped with a hybrid scrubber desulfurization device, as well as unique small bulbous bow, large-diameter propeller and energy-saving conduit. At the same time, the bubble drag reduction system was adopted for the first time, which not only effectively reduced the total energy consumption of the ship, but also reduced the carbon emissions by 3% - 4% of the corresponding total amount, and roughly reduced more than 6000 tons throughout the year. The shaft generator system is adopted for the first time, which can effectively reduce fuel consumption, optimize EEDI energy efficiency index and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It is particularly worth mentioning that, on the premise that the main dimensions remain unchanged, the company's container ship design team has specially optimized the ship superstructure, radar mast and other related designs according to the characteristics of the ship's East operation route, and has increased the world's record of the largest container volume by 112 TEUs. The ship integrates many highlights and features such as green, environmental protection, high efficiency, energy saving, economy and safety, and has become the latest design version of super large container ship in the world.

The capacity of the container ship fleet of the Mediterranean Shipping Company currently ranks first in the world. The company has ordered four 241116teu super large container ships. On the same day, the No. 4 ship of mediterranean shipping also successfully docked. At present, No. 2 and No. 3 ships are also carried in the dock, forming a spectacular scene of batch construction. According to the plan, the first ship will be completed and delivered within the year.
