On July 6th, the company held a themed education promotion meeting and a 2023 party building work conference.   More than 400 participants including members of the company's leadership team, full-time directors and supervisors, directors of the Science and Technology Committee, middle-level assistants and above cadres, representatives of the company's "two excellences and one priority" awards, party representatives at or above the company level, representatives of the National People's Congress, advanced labor model representatives, representatives of the second level party branch secretaries, and representatives of new party members attended the meeting. Cheng Qianliu, the liaison officer of the fourth tour guidance group of the group company, attended the meeting for guidance. Chen Jun, Deputy Secretary of the company's Party Committee and General Manager, presided over the meeting, and Hu Jingdong, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, read out the commendation decision

Chen Jun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the company, conveyed the spirit of the mid-term promotion report meeting on theme education of the group company and the 2023 Party building work conference.

Qin Rong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, on behalf of the company's Party Committee, delivered a Party building work report titled "Strengthening the Party's Innovative Theory Armed Forces, Accelerating the Construction of First Class Enterprises, Taking Confidence, Self strengthening, Brave Progress, and Making a Salute to the 95th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Factory with Practical Achievements".

At the meeting, a new party member took the oath to join the party, with Luo Le, the deputy general manager of the company, taking the oath and Zhang Yingfei, the chief accountant, supervising the oath. The meeting commended the advanced grassroots party organizations, outstanding party workers, and outstanding Communist Party members of the company from 2022 to 2023.

Chen Jianliang, Chen Jun, and Hu Jingdong presented awards to outstanding Communist Party member representatives, outstanding party affairs workers, and advanced grassroots party organizations.

The meeting broadcasted a review film of the company's party building work from 2022 to 2023. Huang Huabing, the award-winning representative of the company's "two excellences and one priority", and Fan Hongliang, the ship design institute, delivered communication speeches.

Focusing on annual goals and tasks, accelerating the construction of Changxing Phase II, and promoting high-quality development of the company, Chen Jianliang proposed four requirements:

1、 Accurately grasp the mission and tasks of the new era and new journey. The central task of the CPC is to unite and lead the people of all ethnic groups across the country to build a strong socialist modernization country in an all-round way, achieve the second century goal, and comprehensively promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese path to modernization. In the next five years, Shanghai East China must firmly grasp four major tasks: first, to help achieve the centenary goal of building the military; second, to focus on promoting high-quality development of enterprise operations; third, to accelerate the realization of high-level technological self-reliance and self-improvement; and fourth, to effectively enhance the sense of gain among the general workforce. By implementing the four tasks well, we will comprehensively promote the high-quality development of the company.
2、 Deeply understand the significant significance of conducting thematic education.   Fully and accurately understand the new development concept, combine with theme education, clarify ideas, transform concepts, deeply understand the urgency of improving lean management, and enhance value creation ability. Translate the advantages of party building into development momentum, focus on core indicators such as labor productivity and return on net assets, accelerate the reform of the three systems, enhance profitability, and provide strong political support for doing a good job in the central work.
3、 Firmly grasp the overall requirements of conducting thematic education.
4、 Deepening theme education to promote high-quality development. Deeply understand the new development concept of the Party, accurately identify the current challenges and opportunities of Shanghai East China, adhere to integrity and innovation, and fight the three major battles of "doubling production capacity, relocating new and old factories, and increasing revenue and reducing profits" in high-quality development. We must solidly reflect ideological, political, and action consciousness in promoting high-quality development of shipbuilding production and operation, and face complex industry situations and competitive trends, Adhere to the leadership of scientific and technological innovation, accelerate the transformation of digital intelligence, promote lean manufacturing, accelerate the construction of Changxing Phase II, and consolidate the foundation of long-term development of Shanghai East China.

Party organizations at all levels should take solid thematic education as the driving force, with a sense of responsibility of "always at ease" and a sense of urgency of "never waiting", and with a more full spirit, stronger measures, and more pragmatic style, strive to write a new chapter of high-quality development for the company.
