At the meeting, Weng Jeming read out the Notice of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council on the Reorganization of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation and China Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Group Co. The leaders of the higher authorities attending the conference expressed their warm congratulations on the establishment of China Shipbuilding Group and put forward ardent hopes and clear requirements for the future development of the group. The leaders attending the conference jointly unveiled the plaque for the establishment of China Shipbuilding Group.

Hao Peng pointed out in his speech that the formation of China Shipbuilding Group is the urgent need to promote the development of China's national defense science and technology industry, is a major initiative to deepen the reform of state-owned enterprises, is an inevitable requirement to enhance the competitiveness of China's shipbuilding industry. China Shipbuilding Group should thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping's socialist thought of Chinese characteristics in the new era, effectively raise the political level, deeply understand the significance of the formation of China Shipbuilding Group, always bear in mind the mission responsibility, accelerate the cultivation of world-class shipbuilding group with global competitiveness, for the realization of the "two hundred years" goal, to achieve We will make new and greater contributions to achieve the goal of "two hundred years" and the Chinese dream of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. It has 147 research institutes, enterprise units and listed companies, with total assets of RMB 790 billion and 310,000 employees.
